St. Patrick's Day Serpent Festival at Denver Zoo Legend tells the tale of St. Patrick driving all of the snakes out of Ireland and into the sea. On March 17th and 18th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the luck of the Irish is with snake enthusiasts as Denver Zoo showcases several slithering snake species during its third annual St. Patrick’s Day Serpent Festival. It’s OK to be a wee bit scared as you meet serpents up close and discover a bit o’ blarney about this highly-misunderstood animal, the snake.
